4th Place!

Kaylee tried out for UIL again this year and she made the creative writing team again. She was on that team last year, but didn't place. Creative writing is a little different because they write their stories ahead of time so that the judges have time to read them all. This means they don't have to go to the actual competition unless they just want to.

Last year, she didn't want to go, but this year she did. She was so excited to go! I was a little nervous cause the school it was at was an hour and a half away, but I am so glad she went because she came home with a 4th place medal!! I was so proud of her and excited for her! Three of her four teammates placed and they only go up to 6th place. What an honor! And our school district brought home 1st place overall too. Way to go!!! :)
