Fun Pics!
Kaylee had to do a book report last week and dress up a pumpkin as the main character of her book. We worked on this together. It's Pinkalicious, from the book "Silverlicious". :D
The girls have been having fun playing with the leftover playdoh from the goody bags I made for Lily's class. Look at Madison's lady she made. Ha!
Last night, Morgan took the girls trick-or-treating when he got home from school. They got tons of candy and had fun. He took them to our old neighborhood, since we don't really have a neighborhood where we live now.

I liked this picture......it looks like they're out in the woods. Ha!
Tomorrow is my 39 week appointment. I was being really patient, but then our cousin had her baby boy today and now I cannot wait to have Matthew!!! LOL!!! I've been asking advice on facebook about epidurals. I've never had one, would prefer not to have one, but am not ruling it out if the pain is too much. We will see! I am pretty certain, judging by the fact that Kaylee and Lily both went past their due dates, that Matthew will still be snuggled up in my belly on my due date (11/9). With Kaylee and Lily, the doctor went ahead and scheduled their inductions when I went to my appointment on my due date. If that happens this time, we're going to ask for an 11/11/11 date!
Halloween and Fall Fest!

Last week was red ribbon week at the girls' school. It promotes a drug-free life and every day they were supposed to wear something different (western, camo, mix-match, spirit). Friday was the day they were supposed to dress up like their favorite character. They won't be dressing up for school on Halloween, so this was their chance to wear their costumes on Friday. Lily even had a book character parade and we got to go watch all the kids parade through the cafeteria in their costumes. The kids were all so cute!
Kaylee and Lily both decided to be Hermoine from "Harry Potter".
Yesterday, was the Fall Fest that the school puts on every year. It's always so much fun and is a fundraiser for the school. I made sure to get a picture, although you can't really tell how huge my belly is! Ha!! You can tell Matthew has dropped down though.
I love this picture.....can you tell Lily loves her Daddy?!
Fall Fest is run by parent and teacher volunteers and they have tons of games, entertainment, food, booths, and fun. The girls love doing the sand art station!
Plinko is always a must too.
And spray painting their hair!

And of course, Lily loves the petting zoo! She is my animal lover :)
Kaylee wasn't even going to do it, but she decided to and had fun!
Madison just goes with the flow most of the time. Ha!
They always have to get a snowcone too.....
And tattoos!
Lily got a pretty jeweled one.
The games are always fun for the little girls. Lily got her hula hoop over the eagle on the first try!
We had lots of fun and got to eat some yummy food too. One booth was handing out free sausage on a stick and then Morgan's friend/business associate was out there for the cook-off and he fixed us some delicious ribs and fajitas to eat too. I was so glad that I felt like walking around and was feeling great that day. I've been feeling really achy lately, so I'm not sure if that means anything or if Matthew will stay put until his due date. :D

Madison wanted to be a fairy, so we found her some wings and a tutu at Target and then she made the flower headband using a bunch of clips we had. And she already had the arm things and I found the leggings for her too.
I thought they all turned out cute!
Today, we made it to church and went out to eat too. We figured we better, because it could be the last chance we have for awhile! Ten days until my due date!!! Anyhow, Fall Fest was really fun and I'm glad we had this fun weekend together as a family of 5!
Our 4th!

Holidays
Our 4th was pretty low-key. The girls and Morgan went to his Mom's house the day before for a family party and they got to swim and had lots of fun. I stayed home because I've just been really tired lately. Yesterday, Morgan worked outside all day and the girls played on the wii. Then, Morgan took them for snow cones and when they got back, I went to the store to get some steaks to grill.
By the time we ate dinner, it was already after 8pm. I took a few pictures of the girls before dinner. :)

Then, we headed out to our new city park for fun and fireworks. I didn't want to park inside the park because I knew it would take hours to get out, so we parked nearby and walked. It was a long walk and then since we got there so late, most everyone was taking down their booths and fun stuff to do. :( But, we at least got to see some of our church friends and chat with them for a few minutes.
Normally, we just park at the high school to watch fireworks, but this year since the new park was going to be open, I thought it would be more fun to take the girls to that. It was kind of a bummer that we got there so late though. We were walking back toward where we parked before the fireworks started and then I told Morgan we should at least let the girls play on the playground for a few minutes. The only problem was for some reason they didn't have the lights on and it was so dark!
Anyhow, we found a nice park bench to sit on and watch the fireworks, which were just right nearby. This picture was taken with my iphone and is so dark because it was literally so pitch black that I could barely see what I was taking a picture of. Ha!
The fireworks were really pretty. I think next year we will probably just park at the high school again though......especially since we will have a baby then! :D
Hope everyone else had a nice holiday and enjoyed the fireworks!

Fishing!
Last night, the girls wanted to go fishing. Morgan had already gotten them their own fishing poles, so they all went fishing for the first time. (Well, except Lily, who had been before with Morgan when the girls were gone.)
I really didn't think they would catch anything, because Morgan's been several times lately and only caught one fish. But, I decided to go out there and take a few pics for memories sake. I'm so glad I did!
Right after I got out there, Kaylee caught a fish!
That's as close as she would get to it. Ha! They ended up having to throw this one back because it was too small to keep.
Then, not to long after, Madison started catching them. They each caught at least two, and even more that got away. Morgan had gotten some live shrimp for bait, but it turns out the fish liked the dead ones better. They were catching these croaker fish, that sound like frogs. Weird!
I liked this picture! Kaylee looks so excited about the fish she caught. :)
The mosquitoes started getting really bad, so we all came in, except for Morgan and Lily. I was worried that Lily wouldn't catch anything and she'd be upset, but then soon after they came up to the porch with a fish that she caught!
I had a hard time taking her picture with it, because she was scared of it. Ha! She did not like it flopping around!
She ended up catching another one after that and then Morgan stayed out for awhile longer and caught a few more. They're small though, so we'll have to catch some more before we can have enough to eat. I never imagined we'd live somewhere where we could just go outside and go fishing. They had so much fun and Morgan was so excited that they all caught something. What a wonderful way to make memories!
We missed church this morning. I feel like I'm half dead. I'm not sleeping well and I keep waking up all stiff and with a headache and every night I keep waking up sleeping on my tummy! :( I hope it doesn't hurt the baby!! We're going over to my MIL's later this afternoon for a family party and then tomorrow, we'll go out to the local park for fun and fireworks. Fireworks are banned all around this part of Texas because we are in a severe drought, but the city can still have their fireworks display, thank goodness! Happy 4th of July everyone!

The Sweetest Gift!
Oh my goodness! I got a package in the mail from Veronica this week and I almost died when I saw these adorable things!!!
I wish you could tell from this picture just how tiny and sweet these little hats are!! I cannot wait for Matthew to wear them! They will be treasured forever :) And the little bib! Love it!!! Ha! And the alligator outfit......so cute! You should have heard us girls as we opened these up. We were all like AWWWWW!!!!!!!!
So, for now, I decided just to use this dresser and wardrobe for Matthew's things, and to just put them in my closet. Well, Morgan brought them over from the old house last night and I was so sad when I saw how squished they were. :( I took this picture to post on my blog and while I was looking at it, I had an idea.
Ahhhh........much better!! I decided to see if the dresser would fit where my clothes used to hang and it fit perfectly. Then I just moved the wardrobe over. This will work for awhile until we figure out where his real room will be. He'll be sleeping in our room in the bassinet for the first few months and then we'll just put a crib in there when he outgrows that.
Seriously, I know that none of my girls used their rooms until they were about 3 years old. They've all slept with us or in our room for the first few years, until their younger siblings came along. I know he doesn't need a room right now, but it still bugs me. I will get over it though until we figure something else out! :D
Happy Father's Day to everyone! We had a great morning at church today and we're about to head over to my MIL's for swimming and yummy food! Have a great day!!

Memorial Day Fun!

On Memorial Day, we went to my MIL's house. The girls were so excited to go swimming and then we ate some yummy fajitas.
Lily was not scared of the water at all this time! Last year, we could barely get her to stick her feet in.

Zoey got to go swimming in Grandma's pool too. She seemed to really like it!
We all had a great time :)

I Love Dance and Mother's Day!

We had a busy, but fun weekend! The girls had the I Love Dance competition in Houston on Saturday. We had to be there at 10am and we got home around 5pm. It was a long day, but so much fun. They won 3rd place!! Their performance teams normally don't compete. They have an actual competition team at their dance center that competes. But, this year their teacher created a dance for them all to perform in together. It was so amazing! To see the little girls, from age 7, performing with the oldest up to age 17, was so neat! They all did great and their routine was so awesome! I can't wait to video it and show y'all after recital. They wouldn't let us video or photograph this competition. :(
Today, I woke up to the sweetest little girls giving me their gifts. This is the most favorite thing about Mother's Day to me. I love to see them beaming with pride about what they've made and those kind of gifts mean more to me than they will ever know.
Kaylee colored this pretty gift bag for me.
Lily was very excited about her pretty wrapped present and her name that she wrote on it. She wanted me to open it on Thursday when she brought it home, but I told her we should wait until today.
Here's what was inside! Look at her face! Love it!!
They also had her fill out a paper, answering questions about me. She said I am 10 years old, 6 feet tall, and weigh 5 pounds. LOL! She said I am happy when I hug her. Awww!!! And, that I'm sad when I work
hard. Ha! She said my favorite food is chocolate and my favorite color is pink. She even knew my favorite show is Young and the Restless. Hee hee!!
Okay, and here's the funny part...... It said, "My mother likes to ____" and she put EAT. Haha!! She does know me well! And I thought it was super sweet that she put my best friend is Veronica! So true! It said she would like to buy me some new shoes and that she loves me because I read to her. :)
This is the bracelet Kaylee made me. Isn't it so pretty?!
I love Kaylee's card and her drawing of me! :) Inside it said that she loves me because I am nice, I taught her how to ride a bike and that's her favorite memory of me, she loves to go to the park with me, I help her reach stuff, I like to go shopping, my favorite hobby is sewing, and my favorite flower is a rose.
Of course, Madison's grade is getting too old to make things at school, but she made me this card all on her own. It says "To the Best Mom in the Whole wide World" and later today she told me that I really was the best mom in the whole wide world. How did I get so lucky to have such precious girls?!!
I think I see a future as an accessories designer in Madison! She used her duck tape we got her and some feathers from her sewing kit. Amazing!
So, after church, my in-laws and Morgan's brother and his family came over for lunch.
Here's my MIL with the girls.
All the girls eating. Morgan made grilled chicken. Yum!
They had to go check out the water.
And I made sure to get a picture of me and my girls. Yes, my belly got huge all of a sudden!
Morgan worked yesterday, with Lily's help, on planting flowers out front while we were at the dance competition. Can you see Lily peeking out the window? :D
Lily says, "Bye!! Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day too!!"
