This is my absolute favorite dance of recital this year! I really wish I could have recorded it with their costumes on......it makes it so much more awesome! But, Kaylee's ballet dance was literally 3 dances after this one and I was backstage waiting to help her change on the real recital. They got to open up the recital with this dance.
This is the dance that they did at their dance competition in May and won 3rd place for! Kaylee's performance team starts out the dance (she's wearing the pink flower - 2nd from the right), then Madison's team comes in next (she's wearing a turquoise flower and comes on 2nd from the left of the stage) and then the competition team comes on next. Then, they all come in together at the end. The little girls got the parachute upside down for this rehearsal, but it was perfect during the real thing! :)
I was so proud of them, because this is the first time Miss Tammy has let the performance teams compete at a competition and they did a great job! Normally, only our competition team actually competes. I think Miss Tammy did such an awesome job choreographing this routine, from the way she incorporated all the skill levels, to the way the parachute looked like a fire hose, to the hula hoops, and I love how they all end it together at the end.....it was just so exciting!

Wow! This was so fun to watch! It was neat to see all the girls from all ages performing together too! I bet the real deal was even more exciting to watch!
