Randomness!

Just some random thoughts for the day!

1. I passed up 19 weeks yesterday....almost half way there! In some ways, this has been a harder pregnancy, mostly due to nausea in the beginning. But, emotionally, this has been the easiest pregnancy. My hormones have not gone all crazy on me yet.....keeping my fingers crossed on that! Ha! And I haven't gained a million pounds.....yet!

2. Yesterday, I found a huge tote full of baby stuff I had kept. Why I kept like 50 dresses, I don't know! I guess maybe just in case we had another baby girl? Anyhow, I'm excited to take most of them to the consignment shop and see if I can make some money back on them. They are all nice summer dresses. And, I even found 7 or 8 gender neutral onesies that will work for the new baby, along with several blankets. Yay! I'm also breaking down and taking my awesome JuJuBe diaper bag to the consignment shop, because the consensus was that it just wouldn't work too great for a boy since it's mostly hot pink. :D

3. This week has been so nice, not having school or dance anymore! We visited the library and checked out some books, went shopping so the girls could use some gift cards they had, and have just been hanging out. I already finished Denise Jackson's book about Alan Jackson that I got at the library and now I'm reading George W. Bush's "Decision Points". He is such a likable guy! And funny too! :)

4. We are still trusting the Lord to help us sell our house in His time. We are giving all the credit to Him when it does, especially since they are saying the housing market is worse than it was during the Great Depression. But, the Lord tells us not to worry and that He will take care of our needs and we have faith in that!

5. I still have no idea where we are putting this baby when he's born! Morgan does not want to convert our dining room into a bedroom, because we would have to tear out the tray ceiling in there and tile too. Kaylee wants to share a room with Madison, but Madison wants her own room. Lily wants to share a room with the baby, but I'm not sure how that would work?! Maybe it's because she still gets in our bed every night anyways, so it wouldn't really bother her if a crying baby wakes up in her room every night. LOL! And Kaylee does not want to share with Lily. So, BOO! I have no idea! All the other possibilities like building a room in the garage or converting the laundry room into a bedroom don't really work because there is no way to put a window. We could build a room in the attic, but I don't know where we'd put stairs.

6. It has been so HOT here! Near 100 every day and no rain since January that I can think of. It usually feels pretty good out here on the water because there's almost always a breeze blowing. But, it's just too hot to do fun outside things with the girls, like going to the park or the zoo. :(

7. You know it's a great day when you go to Starbucks to order a frappuccino and the guy says, "We're going to give you your drink for free because we are out of mocha and it will take a few minutes to mix some up.......oh, and we're going to give you a venti instead of a grande too." Sounds good to me!!

That would be my idea of a good day too, lol!

You Texans need to send us some of your warmth. It's been nothing summerlike here at all lately!

LOL on where you'll be fitting the baby when he comes! He'll probably be in your room for a while anyway and maybe having him share a room with Lily wouldn't be so bad of an idea! I know it'll all work out because it always does. :)

Praying for the house still and hope that the guy who saw it today brings back his wife and they this is it!!!

Love ya!

Wow, where has the time gone?!? 20 weeks soon! I hope you get some money for the dresses. The places around here give you a quarter I swear for clothes. I think we are going to have a rummage at the end of the summer to get rid of baby stuff! Hope you get some cooler weather, and hopefully the room situation works out! What about your closet for the Nursery to start out with?

I think you should keep the diaper bag! It's mostly for you anyway b/c you carry it!!

Lainey is still in our bedroom even though she has her own room.
