Veronica was so sweet to me and gave me this new design as a gift. (Thank you so much, Veronica!!) Thank you so much to Julie, from designs by Juls, for designing it for me! From the bright colors and fun elements, to my Mom's special quote at the top, it just turned out so perfect and I love it!
In other news, yesterday Madison and Kaylee found out that they both made the performance team for dance!! Yay!!! They are SO excited! Their dance center has a performance team and a competition team. The competition team competes in different dance competitions and the performance team gets to perform in different things, like local parades, and extra recital dances. They have a special suit that they wear with their name on it and they get pom poms and meet on Fridays for practice. It's just really something that helps them with teamwork, discipline, and is a lot of fun. Last year was the first year they had the performance team, so they are really excited to get to be a part of it! I am so proud of them!!
For some reason, when I was giving Lily a bath, it reminded me that I hadn't said much about her nails lately. You remember how she was losing her fingernails and toenails? Well, we are officially done with all of that! Hooray! She lost every single fingernail, both big toenails, and a couple of her little toenails. Isn't that so crazy?!! This all happened in less than 3 months. I'm so thankful that it happened quickly and she is all healed in time for preschool to start in September.
I am excited that I will have Monday through Thursday, from 9-12, all to myself when Lily is at preschool this next school year. I'm not going to know what to do with myself! I have never had time to myself like that because I've always had a little one at home. She will be going to the same program at a local church that Madison and Kaylee both went to, and I found out the other day that one of my friends from high school is going to be her teacher.
