I am reading this book right now and it is awesome!! I will come back when I'm finished and tell you all about it. I initially heard about it at Gwen's blog. Anyways, here is a video on it. I love how he says we are plan A and there is no plan B.
I feel like this is something that God is really trying to get us to see. I am hearing this idea all over lately, it seems. In "Crazy Love", "The Hole in Our Gospel", "Radical", on different blogs, etc. Lauren just posted a quote on her blog about how we should not be asking God why He allows suffering, but rather why do WE allow suffering?!!
I fully believe that God doesn't need a plan B........he just needs us to trust in His plan A and do what He is asking us to do! Trust me........I am preaching to myself on this one!

Amen Kristin. He does have a plan & His plan is so much higher than ours if we would just submit and walk in it.
All too many times I try to wing it on my own. Why? Not sure. But knowing His way is better...I should know better.

Thanks for posting this! This will be my next book! He is answering prayers for me everyday, I feel I am walking in darkness and He just keeps shining His light for me to see. My hubby lost his job a couple of weeks ago, I still am numb, but He is carrying me as he did before when I had cancer, so this book would be great for me to read!

Thanks for posting this. Have you seen that quote that says "why do you allow suffering and pain and injustice" (speaking to God) and he answers "Why do you" I want to read some of these books. How are your adoption talks going?
