My good friend

I still had a folding table in my living room sitting by the TV from when it was Kaylee's Birthday party. The girls made a clubhouse out of it last week:

Pretty creative, huh?! Do I see interior decorating in their futures?

When Zoey came to visit this past weekend, I finally put the table up.
Well, today the girls asked me when I was going to get their clubhouse out again. LOL!
I told them I wasn't planning to get that table out again any time soon, so they had to build a new one:

Hey, at least they used their Holy Bibles as part of their foundation, to keep their house from falling apart. I think we could all learn a little lesson from my smart girls!

What creative girls you have! And I love that their Bibles were their foundation! :-)
Haha, I love it!
I used to do this as a little girl too. We made tents everywhere and had towns with houses and stores and churches. It was so much fun!
Love the Bible as a foundation. I don't think we ever did that! :)
Tents made with afghans are the BEST!
You have me LOL with that last part about the girls using their holy Bibles as their foundation! Your girls have such a cool mama! Alyssa does the same thing making tents with a little table we have in the sunroom, and uses like 10 blankets, but I always take it down by the end of the day because I can't stand to see messes everywhere. I guess I should just loosen up and let the kid have some fun some time, huh?
Love ya and hope you're having a great day!
Yeah Kristin you ARE clever - "Hey, at least they used their Holy Bibles as part of their foundation" how clever and cute is that?!
I loved to build forts as a kid with anything I could find. Great pics!
Imaginations are the best! I think today the Bible popped up all over. It happened to be in mine too. One pic of the stairs, there is a play mailbox sitting on one and the you can see the bottom of the second Bible! Good to have around for more than one reason :o)
You just couldn't ask for a better foundation! I remember building countless forts with my sisters and cousins but I don't think we ever thought to use our Bibles. So sweet!
lol! I love it! There's no better foundation to have than using their Bibles, huh?
That is so cute, I used to do the same thing. Remember those tv's on the floor? I used to attach my blanket to that and make a tent. My poor mom I was obsessed with making tents all over the house. It is good for kids to use their imagination.
That is so cute Kristin. I used to love doing things like that when I was a little girl. I might just have to do this with Autumn soon!
Kristen thanks for the post about building tents,...it brought back so many happy memories. First off, My brother and I used to do this all of the time. And then my girls did it all of the time too, and I would help them. We made such a big mess,...but it was so much fun!!!!
I loved the pictures and the "HOLY BIBLE as the foundation" line that you added. You are so clever!
John and I are off this morning for our week long anniversary trip.
I will miss ya.
Take care my girl. I will check in with ya when we get back.
Please pray for our travel safety.
Love, Mama Linda
