Baby Zach is Home!!!

I just talked to my Aunt Barbara and Zach finally got to come home on Thursday!
He is doing well. The Doctors have him on a feeding schedule of every 3 hours because they are trying to get his weight up, so there isn't much sleep going on at his house right now. LOL!
His liver and spleen are so enlarged from the virus, that he will nurse only a little and then feel full, so he has a feeding tube and is on that special formula too that I was telling y'all about.

Good news!!! They were mistaken on how much the formula costs. It is not $180 per can, it's $180 per case. I think our prayers were answered!!

Thank you so much to everyone for praying for this sweet little boy. Tomorrow is his first pediatrician appointment with his regular pediatrician. I will keep you updated on his progress.

I started making notecards last week to sell in my boutique to help raise money for Zach's formula when we thought it was going to be so outrageously expensive. I thought notecards might be something that would appeal to everyone. They are just decorated notecards on the outside and blank on the inside. Nothing super fancy, but each one is made with love :-) I have to finish them up and then I will be listing them. Even though the formula is not quite as much as expected, I am still going to sell the notecards and give his parents 100% of the money raised. I'm sure that whatever money I can raise for them will help lift the burden of all of the expenses they've incurred over the past few months.

Thank you so much to everyone who was so willing to help out with this when I first mentioned it. I didn't want to get into doing anything too complicated, so I'm just going to sell the notecards and give his parents whatever money I raise. If you would like to help by purchasing some "Notecards for Zach", I would be so grateful! I'll make an announcement as soon as they are ready to go.

Yay! Glad to hear that Zach made it home! That is awesome news! What an answer to prayer about the cost of the formula being lower than initially expected! I still think the notecard fundraiser will still be a blessing to Zach's mommy and daddy! :)

Love you lots and I'll email you in the morning!

That is great about Zach! Praise God! Wow! That is great! $180 a case is way different that $180 a can. God is good!

YAY for Zach coming home. That is so wonderful and I bet his Mommy is just thrilled!

That is also such great news that the formula is $180 a case instead of a can. Still super pricey though! I will help any way that I can.
