Okay, so I just realized today that I thought my last post was my 100th, but when I was looking at all of my posts, I realized that I never even published one of them (it was a poem I was working on). When I deleted it, it made me have 99 posts, so........
This is my 100th post! LOL!
I guess it doesn't matter anyways, because I still don't have anything fancy planned! Ha!!
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I was so lazy yesterday. I didn't go to church like I had planned and I feel really mad at myself for that. I am planning to go next weekend with my very best friend, so I am looking forward to it!
I just finished watching the movie "Fireproof". I wanted Morgan to watch it with me, but he doesn't seem very interested and I just couldn't wait any longer because I wanted to see it so bad. It was an awesome movie!! I hope that one day I can get him to watch it with me. It is such an incredible story. One of my greatest wishes in the whole world is that one day Morgan and I will share our life together with Christ as our foundation. It would be so special to me to see the man I love worship the Lord. I believe that one day he will. I refuse to believe otherwise.
So, have y'all seen the movie? What did you think? If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it!

I want to see it so bad! I am still trying to convince him on that one!
Oh my goodness...more evidence that we are living the same life just in two different states...My SIL rented Fireproof about two weeks ago and loved it. She sent my husband home with it so that we could watch it TOGETHER. Anyhow, two days later I still couldn't get him to watch it with me. I decided to watch it without him on our portable DVD player while I was sitting up in bed. I reminded him that it was his sis that wanted us to watch it together!!! Anyhow, he could have cared less, so I started watching it, and he told me to put the headphones on! So I did and then started watching it. I got through the part when they are fighting in the kitchen and I woke him up (usually not a good idea to wake up a sleeping bear--he has insomnia issues). I told him..."You have to watch this...this is so us!!!" So he decided to sit up and watch it with me and we actually finished watching the whole movie together. Don't think it actually helped though, because when it was all over, he said he thought the movie was totally lame. I know the acting was a little low budget, but he was just being a stinker about it. Anyhow, I liked the message of the movie.
I had to laugh when I read when you talked about the little detail that this is actually your 100th post...it's those little details that matter most..totally something I would have thought to myself.
Also, regarding your suggestion from this morning, I wish we did have a mom time out group around here. I haven't ever heard of that. Oh and thanks for leaving me a comment...it seems like you're the only one who reads my blog...thanks for making me feel so special!
Have a great day!!!
Hey Kristin! :) Congratulations on 100 posts! WOW. I have no idea how many I have... now I'm gonna have to go look. ha ha. I loved Fireproof. I thought Kirk Cameron was great and I love that he is such a huge marriage advocate. Very cool. I'm sorry your hubby wouldn't watch it with you. :( ,it's a great reminder to make your spouse a priority and put Christ in the center of your marriage. I wish that every Christian woman could know the joy of growing old with a Godly husband. As I read your post and Veronica's comment, my heart ached for you girls. I know how sad and frustrating it must be for you, but just know that your walk of faith is a testimony to your husband. You are a witness to him, even when you don't say anything and God will use that. His timing is not our timing, but it's perfect. I will be praying for changed hearts. Have you read the book "The Power of a Praying Wife"? It's fabulous. I led a group of women in a study based on this book and it is really great. I'd definitely recommend it, it's a book that you will read over and over and it has very specific prayers in it to pray for your husband. Never stop praying for him... God is faithful, be encouraged! Rachel is so right, God's word NEVER returns void. Just keep on keepin' on... preach the gospel and if necessary, use words. ;) ((HUGS)) Jami
Hi Kristen! Thank you so much for appreciating my header. It took a long time. More time than I care to admit. I loved the movie Fireproof. I read the book first and then my boyfriend and I watched the movie. I think by you growing in your faith your husband will notice a difference and he will want to do whatever you are doing. You will be happier and people are drawn to happiness.
It is an awesome movie! We went to see it with our bible study class. We all really enjoyed it! Our church also just did a series on it. It was such a blessing! Glad you got to see it!
I am believing with you that you will one day see your precious man worship and praise the Lord with you! Keep believing friend!
Oh....Happy 100th post!
Wow, 100 post that is great. I saw the movie and I thought it was great! My husband and I watched it and we realized that our lives were kind of like theirs. It is very touching and I pray that your husband sits down and watch it with you, it just may touch his heart a little. I have to admit my husband didn't want to look at it either, but we were at a hotel and there was only one tv when I put it on so he had no where else to go so he had to look at it. I pray that your husband and you get the life that you want centered around Christ. There is nothing in the world quite like it. I will keep praying that you get your hearts desire.
