Houston, We Have a Problem

Wow!! This is my 100th post!

The problem?? I don't even have a give-away, or anything! I will have to plan something special for later in the week!
Today, we took the girls to the Houston Space Center for the day. I had never been before!
We had planned to go to the zoo, but since it was raining and cold, we decided to pick another place to go. When I found out that Spongebob was going to be at the Space Center, I knew that's where we had to go!
The girls really enjoyed eating their Dippin' Dots before Spongebob arrived!
They liked seeing the inside of the shuttle.....
But, the real reason they wanted to go to the Space Center today was to play in their huge playground!!
When I say huge, I mean huge!! Here's a better picture of it:
It's so big, I couldn't even get the entire thing in the photo.
We had lots of fun! It was nice to do something with the entire family. If you read my last post, you realize what a huge deal that is and I'm loving my new freedom!
So, I hope you will forgive me for not doing anything today for my 100th post. I will think of something special to give away later in the week!!

Kristin...you are too funny. I just got done reading the comment you left for me. You are so right about yesterday...at the end of the day, when it was all said and done I almost wanted to cry for so many reasons. I was so disappointed that things turned out the way they did but what could I do? You know how us control oriented girls can be. The whole thing was upsetting but I'm just relieved it's all done and I can get back to crocheting and doing other fun things.

I'm sorry that you didn't make it to church today. That was our story last Sunday. We actually did make it to church today, but I am just so torn. Don't know if this new church is the right fit. I'm praying that the Lord will tell us where he wants us to be. The idea of church hopping does not appeal to me at all.

Regarding writing me a book, I love the mini novels you leave for me. It almost reminds me of an email I sent my SIL a while back...the title was something like "Longwinded Today...but then again when am I not?"

I am so glad I've found someone who gets it. Well, hope you have a great week and talk to you soon!

Hey, that looks like GREAT FUN! Would you believe I've never seen a Sponge Bob cartoon and neither have my kids!? I wonder how we've missed them.

Anyway...I just wanted to pop over and tell you how grateful I am for your prayers Kristin. You are so sweet to take time to pray for me. It means a lot.

I've prayed for you too - that your husband and friend would come to know Jesus. The verse that came to mind was the one that talks about the husband being converted by the conversation (behavior)of the wife. Your life can make a huge difference in the way he views God. (I Peter 3:1)

I've also prayed for your friend Stacey and for your business. Keep in mind that God will be honored in your business as you testify of him, even if your products are not "Christian" products. I often say, "We are the Christian, not the stuff - and it's important that we honor him with everything." I think your desires are admirable though and it's exciting to see God drawing you closer to himself.

Have a blessed and peaceful Sunday.
Love,
Lynnette

Kristin,...I am so glad that you and your family had such a fun outing on Saturday. The pictures were great!

Sweetie, I am so thrilled with your victory over your panic attacts, through your faith in our wonderful Lord! I am so happy for you. I am still praying for you and for your continued success.

The Lord loves you so much and I am telling you girlie,...you are in my heart too.

Thanks for the note on my blog today. I had a wonderful day at church and I am looking forward to the next few nights with the revival.

My husband John is going to golf with the evangelist this week. He hopes to minister to this godly man, and welcome him to our small town. We live across the street from the golf course, and also from the church, so it is handy!

God is so good! 15 years ago I never dreamed that my husband would be saved, leading me in daily devotions, attending church every Sunday with me, and golfing with evangelists!

Keep loving your husband and praying for his salvation. With God all things are possible!

Praying for you and yours!
Linda
