Well, the longer I stay away from blogging, the harder it gets to keep it updated! Then, I come on here and everything looks different with posting, so hopefully I can figure it out. Ha!
It's been so freeing, I will admit, to not worry about reading or posting blogs. I love each and every one of you, but facebook just seems so much easier when you don't have much time to be on the internet.
Matthew is 6 months old already and a few days before he turned 6 months old, he started crawling. Once he learned to put one hand in front of the other, he was off and I must pick him up a million times a day to put him back in the "safety zone", as we have named his big rug in the living room. LOL! Now, he's starting to pull himself up and he's so unsteady that it gives me a heart attack, but he is definitely all boy and loves to explore. He's sitting up now too and eating at least 3 times a day. He's a great eater! He weighed 17 1/2 pounds and was almost 27 inches long at his appointment this week.
Next week, Lily is having her Kindergarten graduation ceremony and Madison is having her talent show, so we are excited about those things. School is rapidly wrapping up and I will soon have a 1st, 4th, and 7th grader! Crazy how fast time flies by!
Lately, I have really been enjoying watching Joyce Meyer. So much so that every morning, as soon as the music from the intro to her show comes on, Matthew stops whatever he's doing and turns toward the TV and listens to her voice. I laughed and told him he's going to end up being my little preacher from all these shows. Haha!
I was talking to Madison about some of the talent show acts the other day, and she is singing a Francesca Battistelli song, a couple of other girls are singing a duet to a Francesca song, her other 2 friends are dancing to a Jamie Grace song..........I told her that I am thrilled because in this day and time, you just don't hear of young kids being proud to share their talents with Christian music. And, I am so happy that they have a school district that does not ban Christianity, but embraces it. That is rare and refreshing and I am SO happy that they have that!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Mother's Day this weekend!!

It is always fun to see that you have done a post! However...I know it is time consuming, and you have been extra busy these past six months now that you have a baby...so that's ok if ya just post when you have the time and energy! We understand! (:>)
It is a good place to update, and to keep records of what the kids are up too though,...and a good place to record all of the different stages that Matthew is passing through. These kids grow up so fast! In just a few more months he will be walking! Yikes!
Lily's Kindergarten graduation will be a big deal! (I always get choked up at those!) And the talent show will be lots of fun for Madi. When I was in the sixth grade I was in the talent show with two of my friends and we sang..."Sentimental Journey"!!! It was so much fun. I remember it like it was just yesterday.
Kaylee will have fun being able to look back and remember the time when she was chosen to be the Ambassador! I was the Vice President of the class when I was in the 5th grade, and my friend Roy was the President. And that was the same year we were King and Queen of The May! Oh what fun it was to be a kid! (:>)
It sounds like your kids enjoy their lives....and they sure have a wonderful Mommy! (And Daddy!)
Love to you all!
Momma Linda
glad to see things are going well!! so much going on and kids growing so fast! enjoy your blog break!
that certainly is the truth! the longer I stay away the easier it is to not go back! lol
I am having a hard time trying to figure out the new blogger. It's driving me crazy!
I cannot believe it's been 6 months already. He is such a handsome and apparently, adventurous little guy!
That really is amazing that her school is so welcoming of Christianity!
I am with you...blogging has been hard for me lately. And, reading other blogs is barely happening! I'm excited to hear of the song your daughter is going to sing....good for her. Our school district is also welcoming of Christianity, and I'm so grateful.
Makes me smile to think of Matthew watching Joyce Meyer. Too cute.
Great to read an update. Take care of you!
Blessings,
Kelly
Hey friend, I think of you often but like you life is so busy. I want to update important things or crafty things but my time with the kids is so important. In the summer it is even harder because they need me all day, MOM!! my goodness. Love reading your blog though.
