Christmas Catch-Up!

I finally got my pictures put on my computer, so I wanted to catch up on what I missed from Christmas.  Then, I think I'll be pretty caught up here on my blog! :)

The girls decorated their annual cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve, after our candlelight service at church.  The candlelight service was so amazing and I wish I could have taken a picture or video of nothing but a sea of candlelight, with everyone worshipping the Lord, but I just wanted to enjoy the moment.  It was amazing though!

The girls did a great job on their cookies!

We always let the girls open their presents from us on Christmas Eve, because Christmas morning is Santa, and then we leave shortly after to go to my mother-in-law's house.

Lily sprinkled some reindeer food.  When we first went outside, she dumped one bag right outside the door.  LOL!

The next morning, they woke up to see what Santa brought.  Lily's gift she asked Santa for when she saw him: A Monster High Clawdeen Dead Tired doll.

They also got some Lalaloopsy dolls and other toys.

Madison got some Sims games for her computer that she had been wanting.  And a Cyndi Lauper barbie ;-)

This picture cracks me up!

A family photo!

Mommy and Matthew

The favorite gift from Morgan's Mom - photo albums that she gave to each of her sons of pictures of them when they were little boys.  I have never really seen pics of Morgan as a kid, except the few she has hanging in her hallway, so it was really fun to see.  The funniest thing is that our little cousin Devin looks exactly like Morgan when he was a kid, and Devin's dad looks absolutely nothing like Morgan.  It's funny to see genetics at work!

We just had the best Christmas!  Morgan and I didn't even exchange gifts.  We rarely do for any occasion.  I feel like Christmas is for the kids and it's never about the gifts, but just about family and enjoying that rare time together, since everyone is always so busy.  I did get the Pioneer Woman's cookbook, which honestly I haven't even sat down to look through yet.  But, one day I will.  Ha!  We ate our traditional prime rib for lunch at my MIL's and it was delicious and luckily, Matthew slept through it so I was able to enjoy my meal.  LOL!  It was just a great Christmas weekend!

My two biggest girls got those same exact La La Loopsy dolls and they love them! I love them, too. Kind of addicting playing with the hair, ha ha!
