Week 15

I thought it would be fun to start doing this pregnancy highlight thing I've been seeing on other blogs. I always kept a journal with the girls, but I think it will be much easier to write things on my blog and then I can have these posts made into a book later on.

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 15 weeks!

Size of baby: The nurse said I'm measuring more like 18 weeks. When I was pregnant with Lily, they thought I might be having twins because I was so big. Ha! But, we've already looked on their little ultrasound machine in the office and we know there's only one!

Total weight gain/loss: +4 pounds

Maternity clothes: I'm wearing both regular and maternity things. The regular things are starting to get uncomfortable though and my regular t-shirts are getting too short.

Gender: I go back in 2 weeks to have blood work done for the birth defects screening and they will schedule the ultrasound to find out then! Today, we looked on the little office machine and the nurse and I both saw something between this little one's legs. Now, what it was, we can't be sure. Their machine is so little and then the baby moved and we couldn't get the same view back. It could have just been the umbilical cord, but I'm really anxious now for the real ultrasound in 2 weeks because it really looked like little boy parts to me!! I haven't even entertained the idea that it could actually be a boy until today! I love little girls and it would be sweet to have another, but how exciting would it be to actually have a boy?! Aghhh.......I can't wait two more weeks!

Movement: I'm not sure, but it seems like I've felt the baby kick a few times. I don't know if that's actually what it was though!

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well, although sometimes I wake up laying on my tummy, which probably isn't a good thing. I've been trying to sleep with another pillow beside me so I don't do that. I would be sleeping better if Lily would quit climbing into our bed in the middle of the night! Ha!

What I miss: I lost my taste for coffee! :( That has been the weirdest thing, to go from loving coffee to not being able to drink it. I've tried, but it just doesn't taste good to me anymore?!

Cravings: Nothing really, although I don't normally like tomatoes, but lately I can't get enough of those cherry tomatoes.

Symptoms: Thank goodness I don't feel nauseous anymore!

Best moment this week: Getting to see the baby and hear it's heartbeat at my appointment today!

So, I was thinking it would be fun to do a poll on here to see what y'all think I'm having! It really could be a girl, or what we saw could have been little boy parts. Good thing I'm really busy these next few weeks, because I cannot wait to find out!

Love that you are doing this! Oh how I WISH I had been blogging during my pregnancies! I was hardly using a digital camera! :)

Belly pictures with each update please! (:>)

I am going to love following along with each update. And I can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl. I am voting boy...cuz that would be so awesome.

But we already know that if you have another girl, she will definitely be beautiful!

I am so glad that things are going well & that you find out in two weeks! I can't wait! I voted boy, because I just know he'll be lucky number four! I can be your go to person on all things boy. LOL!

I still can't believe you don't like coffee anymore! I couldn't function without it! I was so grateful that I was able to drink it during my pregnancies! Maybe you just haven't found the right one? LOL!
