So Fortunate!!

I absolutely love the way the Lord works! I have been so fortunate to win a couple of giveaways recently and they came at just the right time!!

I won a $30 gift certificate to CSN stores from Kate. If you've ever been to their website, you know that they have just about everything you could ever want! I was looking and searching and then it came to me.........I'm going to have a baby and my suitcase has a huge rip in it and I've had it since 1994! My parents gave me the entire luggage set when I graduated high school. Plus, I have wanted a rolling suitcase for years. So, I thought that was perfect! I could get me a rolling suitcase to take to the hospital when I have the baby. And Morgan will be so glad not to have to carry all my stuff on his shoulder. Ha!

I just got the one I chose in the mail today and I was so impressed! Guess how much I paid for this monster suitcase?!! After my gift certificate, only $23, with tax and shipping and everything!!! Can you believe that? And it is SO much bigger than I imagined. I was actually afraid it might not be big enough, but it will hold all my stuff, the baby bag, my laptop and everything. I had Kaylee stand by it just for perspective! HUGE!! I'm so excited! This was such a major blessing! I asked Morgan if that would be embarrassing carrying that big of a suitcase for just a 2 night stay in the hospital? LOL! (Not when you see how much I pack when I go somewhere. Ha!) Morgan said we can fit the baby in there too. :D Hee hee!

So, the other giveaway I won was the new JJ Heller CD, "When I'm With You", from Kelly. This has also been such a huge blessing for this time in my life! Y'all know how much music means to me. There have been so many songs on this CD that speak to me so much, because of things that I am dealing with right now. I don't know if y'all know this, but JJ Heller also suffered from panic attacks and that is why she wrote "Your Hands". It is so clear from her writings that she knows what it is like to go through that.

I have hesitated to write about this, because I intend to take these posts and make them into a book for the baby after he/she is born, but I have been having a hard time dealing with this pregnancy. Not because I don't want this baby or anything like that.....nothing like that! But, I am absolutely scared to death of these upcoming doctor's appointments. I know that sounds ridiculous, but there are two things that I do not do because of my anxiety: travel long distances and go to the doctor. To me, those things are like some kind of horrible torture. And I know I can do it.....I did it when I had Lily and I had this anxiety back then too. But, in my mind I was not going to ever have to go through this again and here I am. I have no idea how I'm going to do it, other than just give up and let the Lord help me through it. And so when I heard this song, I couldn't believe it. It says exactly what I've been thinking. And I've been doing great, but this has really had me all worked up lately. I don't really see what going to see someone could do, because I have already analyzed and worked through why I have these feelings and I can't take medicine. Literally, my only hope is the Lord and I trust Him. I really do. And if you could pray about it for me, I know that would be my best hope of working through it! If you have a minute, listen to this song......it is amazing!

Lucky you!! That suitcase is plenty big! The baby can actually stay in that once you bring him or her home instead of the closet!! :)

I will be praying for you. I'm sure that these visits will be somewhat difficult for you but I KNOW that God will help you through them.

Wow, that's a huge suitcase! What a great thing to get for the delivery!

You know, as I was reading your post, I suddenly realized that maybe somehow this baby and pregnancy is God's way of telling you to trust Him. He knows how much anxiety and panic you feel and He just wants you to trust Him. I believe that everything that happens in life is one way or another a way for the Lord to speak to us about something. I think that is awesome, even when it hurts.

I'll be praying for you friend. I know exactly how it feels to be terrified about a situation. It's no fun but the Lord is there to guide us through it.

Kristin...I love you and I'm praying for you every step of this journey. I love how the Lord works, too!

I like to call those "Daddy's little girl moments"...when we know God truly sees us and just sends an extra special blessing just for us to let us know He's there. I'm so glad you like the CD. I love that song, too. JJ Heller's music really speaks to me.

Love and Prayers...

That is a serious suitcase! :) I laughed about Morgan carrying all of your bags because Tim is always picking on me about my numerous bags. I tend to pack lots of little bags rather than a big suitcase. He's forever laughing about my many bags!

I'm going to be praying for you with your anxiety about the doctor visits and trips. I have no doubt God's working in your heart and life through all of this. To Him Be the Glory!

Way cool suitcase...AND...it's red!

God really loves you sissy..and He takes care of your EVERY need!

(My momma used to call me sissy sometimes!) *wink*

Just the same way He took care of you when you were pregnant with Lily...He will walk you through this pregnancy...just like you said. You will find that your Hope in the Lord will be Unfolding step by step!!! He gives grace exactly when you need it most.

Loved the song. I have been watching JJ Heller videos and I really like her.

God is good all the time... Amen?

Never fear God is near!

Love, Momma

Well, you know you are always in my thoughts and prayers and I have full trust that the Lord will continue to walk with you through all of your appointments and will see you through!

That's so neat about the g/c. I had no idea that you'd won that! :) Glad you got something to use for your trip to the hospital. What a blessing! :)

I've done two giveaways for CSN on my Girly Girl Giveaways blog! Love that place.

And I want to gently offer this advice if you're having a difficult time. I don't know your birth histories but have you considered midwifery care? Care with a woman who specializes in birth and will be more personal with you? Just an idea and worth checking out!
