Four!

Dear Little One,

March 3rd sure was a surprising and exciting day for our family! That's the day we found out that we were going to be having you! We aren't sure if you will be a boy or a girl yet, but what we do know is that you will be so very loved.

Right now, we live in a two story house that your Daddy built, but he is building us a new house on the water that we will be living in by the time you get here. I told Daddy to make sure and put me a nice swing on the porch so we can sit out there and look at the water. I imagine I'll be singing lots of songs to you, because I love to sing. This is my favorite song right now and it already reminds me of you when it says, "Do you know my heart is yours?"



That reminds me.....you have 3 big sisters! By the time you get here, they will be 11, 8, and 5. They are so excited, they can hardly wait! If you are a girl, they're going to teach you all about dressing up and dancing and barbies and dolls. If you're a boy, well, they aren't sure what to do with you if you're a boy, but we will all learn together! :) Daddy says if you're a boy, we're going to name you Jesus because it will be a miracle. You'll learn that your Daddy is pretty funny.......most of the time. Ha! :D

The girls have already started trying to think of names for you. Lily wanted to name you "Fluttershy", just like her My Little Pony, but I'm not sure you would like that name very much. LOL! We were waiting in the car to pick up your oldest sisters the other day and Lily asked me, "Where is our baby, Momma?!" She knew we were going to have you, but she couldn't figure out why you weren't here yet. I had to explain to her that it will be sometime after Halloween when you get here.

You're still so tiny right now that you're only the size of a poppy seed! It's amazing how someone so small can already be loved so much! Normally, we would have waited a little longer before telling everyone about you, but we just couldn't wait to tell your sisters and we knew it wouldn't be fair to ask them to keep it a secret.........they were just way too excited for that! We know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, all the days of your life already recorded, even before one of them has come to be. God has a plan for your life and we can't wait to be a part of the story that He has written for you!
