Bright Paint Colors!

The girls have been having fun on Spring Break this week. Monday, my MIL took them out for lunch and to shop at the mall. They had a lot of fun and came home with lots of goodies. Yesterday, we just went and got the new Barbie movie and we all watched it together and had popcorn. And today, we went to Tutti Frutti for the first time. It's one of those frozen yogurt places and the girls loved it. And of course, we had to shop at Barnes & Noble, since it was right there. :D
We just got back from visiting our new house. They were painting the girls' rooms today and I was dying to see how the colors came out! I have never painted their rooms in our current house, because I really felt one day we would move and wanted the whole house to be beige for that. This time, we gave them the Sherwin Williams thing that has every color they make and said pick one!

Here's our master closet so far......I love the built-ins they did. This closet is huge! Empty, it is almost big enough to be a bedroom. LOL!
Here's our pantry. It's a really good size too. You can't tell, but in front of the shelves on each side is plenty of room for a trash can, to store the vacuum, brooms, etc.
Here's Madison's pink she picked out. It's really not as bright as this picture makes it out to be. It's a soft, but darker pink.
Kaylee's room can be seen from the living room and when I walked in, it literally was glowing. LOL!! Morgan called earlier and he was like, you should see how bright her room is. He wasn't sure if that's what we intended, but she loves bright colors and I think it will be really cute.
See what I mean. Bright!! You can see the rest of the house is just primed right now. The trim has been painted and looks so nice. Tomorrow, they will be painting the rest of the house the same tan color we have in our current house. We always get compliments on our tan, so we figured why change it?! Our kitchen cabinets just came in today too, and they are going to try to put them in this weekend......right on schedule. Awesome!
Here's Lily's purple she picked out. She wanted a pink, blue, and red room and I talked her into purple. Ha!
So, it's getting to the really exciting stage! I cannot wait to see the kitchen and bathroom cabinets once they're installed. I'm so excited! Our mantel shipped today too, so we should get it in a couple of days.

Goodness gracious......poor, poor baby if this baby ends up being a boy. What will he think about all this pink and purple?!

I absolutely LOVE the colors of the girls' rooms! My girls would love them too! LOL about if this is a boy. He'll already be surrounded by pink what with three sisters, a little more won't kill him, lol! :)

Can't believe how fast the house is coming along. Not too much longer, huh? So exciting!!!

The colors are fun for the girls, and the white trim and doors look great with the bright colors. (I love the purple...cuz I have been a purple girl since I was a child.)

If baby is a boy he won't care about the color for awhile...so you have time to figure it out! (:>)

Things are pretty exciting around your house these days! Glad you are enjoying seeing your new home coming together. I would be excited for the cabinets to be installed too. I know they will look great. And I can't wait to see the fireplace!

So happy for all of you.

Love, Momma

LOVE posts like this! Veronica just posted your big news so I headed on over because I am pregnant with my fourth and already have three girls too!

I love the colors your girls picked out. I have a Post-Victorian house so I have a lot of deep, rich colors in all of our rooms except the kids have brighter, fun colors for theirs.

Wow, love the colors! My dad is a painter and he hates when people pick bright colors, haha! Usually because he has to be the one to paint white over top of them when someone is trying to sell! I think that's so cool you let the girls pick out their colors! We have tan walls everywhere, we are pretty boring!!
