Oh my goodness, why is it that the two things that never fail to make me laugh so hard that I cry are these:
1. Passing Gas - or rather, any joke regarding it or the name you use for it.
Kristen over at We Are That Family just posted about what her husband grew up calling it and I about died laughing! Most of all, I had tears because I was remembering what my Mom used to call it, which was "blowing bullets". Does that make you die laughing?!! Where did that even come from?!! Around here, we call it "toots". And every time Lily does it, she says, "Who tooted?" And then she blames it on the dog. No kidding. Doesn't matter if we're in the car line at school miles away from the dog, she still blames it on poor little Bella Chihuahua. :D
I cannot hardly think of Larry the Cable Guy's skit of his grandma's "walking farts" without cracking up too!
2. People Falling Down - I know it sounds horrible, but it never fails to make me laugh.
3. Okay, I know I said "two", but I just thought of another one - When someone gets their words mixed up. You know how sometimes you accidentally mix up the letters of two words and it comes out all wrong. Like I am notorious for saying "Grandma and Pappie", instead of "Grammie and Pappaw" LOL! Morgan and Madison both do this all the time and I always die laughing.
What makes you laugh hysterically?!

In other news/updates, which are not funny at all, I just read on the news that the one contract worker that was unaccounted for from the plant explosion yesterday has been found among the wreckage. I was so saddened to hear that. Everyone they interviewed kept saying that they thought he got out, but no one could get ahold of him and his family hadn't heard from him either.
Also, thanks so much for everyone who was praying for Seth, the policeman who was run over. I haven't heard anything recently, and I missed church Sunday, but the last I did hear was that the bleeding had stopped and it was just going to be a very long recovery. Our church just started using this online program called "The Table" and it's kind of like facebook in a way, but for churches, and everyone from your church can sign up and keep in touch through it and post prayer requests, etc. That's how I found out about the accident and the update.
It has been so wild to hear about all the crazy amounts of snow that everyone has been getting! It dropped into the 20's here tonight, but no snow for us. I'm glad, because I just don't have time for that! Ha! I got into the car to take the girls to dance and the digital temperature reading on my car said "ICE" and then it said "31" degrees and then "ICE". Weird! I didn't even know it did that!
Have a great rest of the week!

LOL about toots! Our girls call them that too!
You know what's so weird about me? When others find certain things funny...like watching people do things that are embarassing, I totally cannot watch. I feel so bad, I just feel terrible for seeing stuff like that! Weird, huh!
I'm so sorry about the worker that passed. What a horrible thing to have happened. I hope that Seth will continue make improvements!
P.S. 20 degrees is freezing to me. I told Fern about how you said the car read "ICE" and we both thought that was funny!
When Fred & I first got married and we'd go over to his parents' house, we'd here his nephews and family refer to farting as "mousing." What?!?! That just sounds ridiculous. We say "toot" usually with the boys.
That is so sad about the worker & police man.
I use the word toot with Kyndra. Or I'll use tooter too. :)
