Dinosaur Princess!

Kaylee's dinosaur music program was so cute today! Lily and I met Morgan up there and we all watched it.

Here's how her costume turned out. I just used fleece and hot glued some little stuffed spikes to a headband, appliqued some polka dots to the shirt, and stuffed and sewed a dinosaur tail. I already had the headband, shirt, and pink fleece, so all I had to buy was the blue fleece and tulle/ribbon for the tutu. Oh, and I bought her new leggings, which she'll get lots of use out of anyways. I was happy that it turned out cute and girly, for a dinosaur. :D

Here's Kaylee coming in. We were all the way at the very back of the auditorium, so the pics aren't that great. I need a zoom lens! But, she actually spotted us and started waving.

After the show.
She had a speaking part. Here's her part. I was kind of bummed that the teacher was holding that sign up so high. I could barely see her. Oh well! Ha! It was a cute program and I know it takes lots of work to pull something like that off, and I appreciate all of her music teacher's hard work!



After the show, Lily and I had just enough time to run to Sonic and pick up lunch, and then we went and ate lunch with Kaylee at school. It was a fun morning!
