Scooters!

Today, we went to Madison's friend Audrey's birthday party at a local skating rink. It was HOT!! This place really didn't have A/C and it felt like an oven. But, the girls had fun!

My girls really can't skate, so they did scooters most of the time! I think Audrey and Madison were having a race here. :D
I did put some skates on Lily and help her around the rink, which pretty much meant me holding her under her arms and her legs swinging around. LOL!
One more day until school starts!! It really doesn't seem like that big of a deal. It seems like just the other day, they were in school. The only thing I'm dreading is the traffic. All of our schools are on one road, so traffic is always backed up so badly the first day because everyone wants to take their kids on the first day. Normally, Morgan drops off both girls in the morning on his way to work, but I will probably take Kaylee for the first few days until traffic dies down, just to make sure she's not late. I'm hoping to get my iphone on Monday, and that will make waiting an hour in the car line in the afternoon much more bearable! Woo hoo! I can't wait!!

Lily starts school the following week and that's going to be so weird! Throw in my birthday, Madison's birthday, and Morgan's birthday somewhere in there, and you have a super busy couple of weeks coming up!!

I hope the first day goes well. We still have two more weeks or so. September 8th I believe. Can you believe it?
Our traffic is crazy too. I need an iphone.
Cute scooter pictures. My kids love scooters.

Things will be different when all three girls are in school...what will you find to do? (:>) I'm just teasing...I know there will be plenty to do.

Glad you are getting your Iphone. Yes... that will be a good thing to keep you busy while you are waiting to pick up girls.

Looks like the girls had fun with the scooters.

Hope all goes well on the first day of school.

Luv ya!

Glad the girls had fun at the party, but I shudder to think of an unairconditioned skating rink in Texas!!!! School starts for my granddaughter Morgan on Monday, too. She will be a 5th grader. I can imagine there will be some hankies needed when your Lily starts to school. Yes, that iphone will come in handy.

How FUN! Both scootering and roller skating (blading) are uber fun! =D

Oh how I wish there had been scooters at the skating rink when I was their age! I never was a good skater - for some reason, my left foot would not EVER leave the ground when I had on skates!?!?! So I skated with only my right. Didn't work out well. I always got so nervous when I had a friend's birthday party at the skating rink because I was terrible at skating. I needed a scooter!!

Riding on scooters is such a good idea if they don't really skate! I've never seen anyone do that at the skating rinks here! It's genius! Looks like they were all having a blast!
