Today was Lily's Barbie party! She had a lot of fun and it was just a laid back party with friends and family, just how I like it!

Don't you love her little Barbie ponytail holders?

For parties, I just have to keep it simple and buy everything. I bought all of her stuff at the party store and got her cake from Walmart. :D I even buy the helium tank you can get for balloons, so that I can blow them up at home and don't have to wrestle with getting balloons in the car. I'm still using the same tank from Kaylee's party.

We pulled out the waterslide that we used at Kaylee's party too. I only bought that slide this year because I knew we could use it for all 3 of their parties. Much cheaper than renting one each time and it's instant entertainment!

Here she is blowing out her candles.

And opening presents.

We had a pinata too, only it was one of those pull string ones and Kaylee ended up getting the one that opens it and so no one else got a turn. LOL! I think the good old-fashioned ones that you have to beat up are more fun. Ha! But, the end result is all the same. Candy!
It was a fun day, just super hot! I tried to stay inside as much as possible and just let the kids play outside. I got to see Zoey again and she actually wanted to come to me and let me hold her. Yay! I was afraid she might not want to if she thought her Mommy and Daddy were going to leave her again. She's getting to be one of the girls now :)
Well, one more week until school starts! This summer flew by! Are y'all ready for school?

What a fun party! Lily looked really happy!
I can't believe school is already starting for some kids! It's crazy how fast the summer went by huh?
Fun to catch up again! Such cute pics of the party, the house going up (you really have a beautiful place)... Good luck with your house building and move!!!
Kristin...Sounds like you were ahead of the game...with your helium tank and your blow up slide for the party! And the decorations and cake looked festive and fun. Glad it was a relaxed party and that everyone enjoyed themselves....especially Lily!
Our family parties are kinda loud and chaotic since there are 20 of us and a lot of those are kiddos with a lot of energy! But they're fun. I think we will be having one in a week or so for the August birthdays. First there's my 60th and then Jonas will be 7 and then Will will be 15.
Well, today is church day, and I can't wait to read what you write about today's sermon! It is always so good and so challenging.
I need to start getting myself ready for church too.
Have a blessed day!

Hey! Glad the party went so well! I love the colors and everything looked so neat. I would definitely love to come to one your parties since you have that water slide!
Hope you've had a good day and I'm gonna try to email you back later. Ran around a lot today and now my niece is here visiting! Can't believe school starts tomorrow already! Yikes!!!
Looks like Lily had a fun birthday party! Such a fun bday cake too! I love all the pretty colors of her party too! It is so much easier just purchasing everything. I feel like I am working on things months before just to see it all in it's glory for a few hours! HA! So glad that it went well and that you were able to see sweet Zoey again!
Looks like it was a lot of fun! That slide needs to be in my back yard!! Miss "talkin'" to ya! Hope you all are doing well!
Yeah, I agree that the pinatas you beat with a bat are more fun! But the strings are less messy!
I think the blow up slide looks pretty awesome!!
Looks like a fun party too me. Having your own slide is a great idea. Saves a ton of money and you can use it whenever. My kids would love that.
Glad her birthday was so fun.
