25 (+9)!

Today was a great day!!! My birthday, where I turned 25 (+9). Haha!!

Do you ever think about life in segments? It's like the first half of my life took forever, then the 2nd half flew by! I mean, it seemed like from 1 -18 was a lifetime, but 18-34 went by in like 5 years. I have known Morgan since I was 17 and we've been together since I was 18! Half of my life almost! I've been a Mom for almost a third of my life. Now, that's amazing to think about it like that! I graduated high school 16 years ago! I graduated college 12 years ago! It does not seem like that long ago!! In a few weeks, we will celebrate our 11th Anniversary. It is so true that life is but a vapor.......

Today was just such a great day though! I woke up and the girls gave me cards and a present. They got me a webcam!! If I get brave one day, I'll do a vlog! Haha! That was such a great present though, because I had been wishing I had one. Morgan took all 3 of them shopping yesterday for my present. They had fun going shopping with Daddy. :)

I even got some presents from my friends from small group once I got to church. I thought that was so sweet! They gave me some pretty picture frames, an awesome notebook, and some lotion.

We always let the girls choose a place on their actual birthdays to go out to eat and Madison wanted to go to the local Chinese buffet place. So, I asked her if she just wanted to go today for both of our birthdays, so we went there for lunch after church.

When we got home, the power was out, and I had plans to make my annual birthday trip to Barnes & Noble, by myself, to go look for books. I just love that place!!! I'm going to make it a tradition on my birthday. Ha!

I got 3 Max Lucado books (Facing the Giants, In the Eye of the Storm, and and When Christ Comes) and I got "The Handmade Marketplace", which looked like a great book for having a handmade business.

Like I said, the power was out, so I didn't get to the computer until I got back. I felt so loved when I got on facebook and my blog and saw all of the Happy Birthday wishes!!! Thank you so much to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday. You truly will never know how much that meant to me! Every single one of you mean so much to me! I just felt so much love from everyone and it was one of the best birthdays I've ever had.

"I thank my God every time I remember you." Philippians 1:3

Oh, by the way, Morgan and I are both the same age now, for two more days, until he turns 35 on Wednesday!! :D We are almost exactly one year apart!

So glad you felt the Love coming at you on your Birthday. I felt the same way on my birthday...it was great!

That was a great present to get. Glad the girls helped Morgan pick it out. Can't wait for the Vlogs.

Don't ya love to have a little time alone to just browse the bookstore? I love that too. But I do get most of my books at the library...which is one of my favorite places...and we have everything a girl could ever want! (Or they will get it for ya) (:>)

I'm glad you and Morgan have a happy life together with your beautiful girls...speaking about everything a girl could want!...You got it girl!

Love you Lots!

Aw - what a wonderful birthday (except for the power outage - but at least you found things to do to still have fun!) Can't wait to hear your voice and see your face on a vlog sometime. Even better, I would love to meet you and give you a great big birthday hug in person. Maybe I can see you in December when we visit my brother-in-law in Texas...or we can convince you to join us in January ;) Love you, sweet friend!

Glad it was an awesome birthday! So excited about the webcam and you'll have to do a vlog for sure now!

You'll have to share the tips you learn from the handmade business book. It sounds really good!

Happy Belated Birthday! Sorry I'm a few days late. I haven't read any blogs the past few days and I'm playing a little catch up today!
