Okay, ignore the fact that I didn't take time to iron this little snap tee. Y'all know how I am about ironing. LOL! But, I was so excited to show y'all this shirt that I made and get your opinion on it! :)

I'm working on new products for
Summer Suzette Couture and wanted to try out some ruffles with this knew knit fabric that I got. I like this knit because it's so soft for babies. What do you think of this? Is it too much? Should I make the ruffles narrower? Is "narrower" even a word? Ha!
I think I kinda like it. I tried to put the ruffles low enough that they wouldn't be hitting the baby's face when it's on. Anyhow, does it need something?
Tomorrow, I'm participating in
Veronnica's blogiversary bash, so I'll be back tomorrow to talk about that. How fun!!

I guess it would depend on how big the baby is. If a bigger baby is gonna wear it you can get away with larger ruffles IMO.
I agree with Holly. I love the shirt, and maybe smaller ruffles for smaller sizes. That shirt with a head bow would be adorable!!!
You crack me up with your ironing. I don't even own an ironing board and I didn't realize it until my mom asked if I had one a couple months ago- heehee!
First - I love the idea!
I think that what the 2 previous posts said is a good point - the larger the size, the bigger the ruffles, and the smaller the size the smaller the ruffles etc - but I love the look! I love ruffles so I am all for it!
This is so cute! It's a neat pattern. I agree with the others - the ruffles could start smaller for tiny babies and go up with the sizes.
Enjoyed your doggie post yesterday and also your Sunday sermon post. Hope you're surviving this heat & humidity!
okay this is adorable!!!
LOVE IT!!! It needs bloomers with a ruffle on the backside, or pants with the ruffle around the bottoms! Of so precious!!!
That is so stinkin cute and you did a fabulous job! I love it!
I came to give my opinion...but I'm so not qualified to give it in this circumstance. Ruffles are definitely beyond my area of expertise!
Also...I almost never iron. I throw things in the dryer when they are wrinkled. And...on the rare occasion when I do attempt to iron, I do a terrible job...just don't have the gift.
So..your lack of ironing just makes me love you more!
Have a great day!
I agree with everyone else!!! You did a great job. I love it!!! It is something I would buy for my Brookelyn. Also, ruffled bottoms and a headband would be amazing with this shirt.
Oh yes...ruffles are so girlie and cute. I agree with the others....it depends on the size as to how big the ruffles should be. And my first thought was it would be cute to do a onesie with additional ruffles on the back of the bottom. (:>)
Have fun experimenting!
Love ya,
Momma Linda
Hmmm...I'm not good with clothes unless I'm seeing them on someone. LOL! I think it looks like a little much, but I'm not big into ruffles (probably since I don't have a kid that would wear them - LOL). I like the little bloomers that little girls wear with the ruffles on their booty. I think it's cute. Although maybe a little uncomfortable to sit on. LOL!
What's ironing???
I am no good at crafty stuff. It is cute though. I like the pics of your dog Bella.
Cuteness! I echo what everyone else is saying about the size of the ruffles/size of the baby. I like the colors too. A headband with one of your summer blooms would top it off perfectly!
Love your creativity. Great job
I know we talked about this one already but I'm just now reading the comments and found that everyone pretty much said what I was thinking about the size of the ruffles.
LOL about ironing! I love what Julie said. Ditto to that!!!
