Today at school, Madison's class had a "wax museum" for us to come visit! They had to pick a famous person, write a speech about their life, and dress up like them. They posed like a wax museum figure, and then we had to come and push the button to hear their story. So fun!!!
Madison decided to be Cyndi Lauper! She learned about Cyndi Lauper last year, because her recital dance was to Miley Cyrus' "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." So, I told her all about Cyndi Lauper and how she reminded me a lot of Cyndi because she loves to be colorful and has her own style too.
Doesn't she look adorable?!! We picked up the jewelry, gloves, and tights at Claire's and everything else she already had. We couldn't do her hair too crazy since she had to go to school all day. Ha! I thought this picture was so cute! This is Madison and her best friend, Bailey. Bailey was Avril Lavigne. I love that they didn't even know I was taking their picture. These girls are just too precious! They have been in the same class almost every year, take dance together, and would spend every weekend together if we'd let them. :D Here's Madison doing her speech. It's kind of hard to hear her since there was so much background noise. By the end of the day, she probably did this speech about 200 times. Ha!
So cute! She was adorable!! I had to smile at this, because I've been told that I look like Cyndi Lauper. My husband says he doesn't see it! Too cute!!
Goodness, that outfit is just too cute. Madison looks adorable and seems "just right" for the part. I know that was a day that both you and she enjoyed.
Must say that I agree about taking the pictures when they don't know you're doing it....great job!
When I started this blog seven years ago, I wrote my story. So much has changed since then. The Lord has taken my story and filled it with hope. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds! I don't know how many chapters it will hold, but because God has written it, I know for sure that it will have the perfect ending!!

"Today I am 57 years old." REALLY? Cyndi Lauper is 57?!!! WHOA! I can't believe that! She was super popular when I was a teen. (I graduated in 1986.)
Madison did look cute - and played her part very well. :)
You must be busy - you haven't blogged in almost a whole week!
Love ya.
