Madison finally learned how to ride a bike today! She has had a bike without training wheels for 2 years and was always too afraid to really get going and try to ride, but today she was riding Tori's bike all around.
I emailed Veronica earlier and told her I thought she might get a kick out of seeing us Texans riding a horse around the back yard. Haha!
I tell you, as soon as Kaylee got on that horse, I just thought to myself that she was a natural!
She loved it!

And Lily was so cute!! I wasn't sure if she'd be afraid, but she wasn't. And she was so tiny on that big horse.
She held on tight like the big girls.
She just loved it when the horse started to trot.
Madison just loved it too!
She just laughed with joy when they got going a bit faster.
Speaking of going fast, my friend Julie was really going fast here!
It was just such a great idea for the kids and they all had so much fun!
Her cute cake:
And Natalie blowing out her candles =)
So, that was our fun day. Kaylee was supposed to have a game this morning, but it got rained out. Tomorrow is Zoey's 1st Birthday party, so I'm excited about that! Can you even believe it's already been a year ago that Zoey was born?!!
Have you ever seen a more gorgeous cowgirl?!!
Her cute cake:
Time flies by so fast, so make the most of today, for yesterday is already gone and tomorrow may not come! (Our Pastor says that all the time and I love it! It's so true!)

Your pastor is a wise man. Love that saying. What a fun party and yes Kaylee does look like she has been riding a while. Adorable. Love the cowgirl hats:)
That's neat there was a horse for everyone to ride. Hey once of those bouncy things! Those are a ton of fuN!
Love the pictures! What a fun day your kiddos had!
Happy weekend!
Birthday parties are so fun! Rachel has her 2nd tommorow, she is busy gearing up for hers. Have a blessed day!
That looks like a fun party! The one picture with the bouncy house and horse does look funny. Kinda like a fairytale story or something! haha!
Have a great Sunday! ;)
Hey! Just got home a little bit ago and thought I'd come to check out the pics from the party before heading to bed!
It looks like the girls had a blast and when I got your email I was headed out the door and tried to check out your pics on FB on my phone. I couldn't see them super well since my screen is so small, but from what I could see, I just loved the pic of Kaylee on the horse. She is sure a beauty! I had even told Fern that same thing when we were driving to the party! :)
How cool that they had a horse there at the party! I didn't think it was so weird to see you Texans riding horses! You guys just seem to have the biggest backyards though!
Glad it was a great day for you guys! The cake looked super cute too!
that is so cool about a horse at a birthday party! and a bouncy house. i love it!! one of my and shaun's first dates were horseback riding with a group of friends through a pretty trail. except my horse was a hungry horse kept going off the trail and ramming me into tress. i seriously had bruises all on my legs and knees. and ironically...it was the last time i've ridden a horse. lol.
OH HOW FUN!!! Love all the pictures of those pretty girls riding on that horse! The cake was super cute too! Sounds like it was a great birthday party!
I cannot believe that Zoey is already turning one! Time sure does fly!
Do you ride horses Kristin? I'm with Veronica...I think of Texans riding horses...so it doesn't seem strange to me either! (Maybe not in their back yards in the suburbs though). ha!
The last time I was on a horse was when I was 15 years old. I think they are awesome creatures that God created...but I am a little bit scared of how large and powerful they are.
Those little girls were really brave...especially Lily. She didn't looked scared at all. (:>)
Zoey can't be a year old already! Where does time go?
I like what your pastor says....and if I ever come to visit you I for sure want to go to your church because he sounds like an excellant preacher.
What a cool party!! My goodness! Love the cake and the horse. I would say this little girl has some fun parents. Looks like so much fun!!
Love that quote from your pastor Kristin!! It is so true! It looks like the girls had a blast at the birthday party. They all look so cute on horseback and in their cowboy hats. :)
How much fun to ride a horse at the party! So cool!!
