A Great Day in Texas!

Today has been a fun day! Lily and I went to Madison's classroom today to watch their Texas play. Then, we got to eat lunch with her afterwards. The cafeteria was having popcorn shrimp, french fries, and a chocolate chip cookie. Lily liked the chocolate milk the best. :D
Madison's part was the Texas flag. She did such a great job on her lines!
All of the kids carved the Alamo out of a bar of soap. So cute! They looked really good!

Here's Madison doing her part. I was so proud of her!

Don't you all wish you lived in Texas?!! LOL!!!

Awww! She did great!!! How fun! That is great that they are teaching such pride in their state. And serving popcorn shrimp for lunch? wow! That is not something that my kids would ever find on their lunch menu at their school. I love fried shrimp!! Yum! :)

Hope you have a great weekend!

P.S. I'll go ahead and let you think TX is great, but someday you'll have to come out and visit us in CA and see why I think living here is pretty great too, LOL!

Yay for Madison!!! Yay for Texas!
Yay for fun times with your kids! Those were the times I lived for when mine were little.

And now I enjoy those things with the grandkids. Life is grand!

Madison is looking so grown up. What a lovely girl. I know you are proud of her.

What an amazing daughter you have...they all 3 sound pretty amazing!! They are great artists as well(wink, wink)! Been meaning to stop by and say hello. We upped the number of children in my in-home daycare and my mom has been helping me and I just can't get on here as much! I miss all my blogging buddies! I hope you all are doing well!
