The star of the day, Miss Zoey! She's already pulling up and standing by herself and she's only 7 months old. I think it won't be long before she's walking.

The girls were being so silly when we tried to get a photo of them all together.
Lily was laughing and laughing because we let her "hold" Zoey.
Then Zoey got ahold of her hair. LOL! Lily didn't even mind and she actually pulled some of it out! I think Zoey was just trying to grab onto something because she was falling over. Ha!!

We had a great Thanksgiving Day! My MIL only lives about 15 minutes away, so we didn't have to go far. I hope y'all all had a great day too! We have SO much to be thankful for! I got a cute video of Zoey and the girls that I'll try to post later or tomorrow.
Our Pastor sent us an email of the Thanksgiving Proclamation that Abe Lincoln did when he proclaimed that the last Thursday of November would be Thanksgiving Day. I thought it was so interesting that Thanksgiving was created as "a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens." He says that "No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy." And that is why he invited the American people to celebrate Thanksgiving, so that our nation would be restored to be "consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquility, and Union."
I think it is so absolutely sad that our nation's leaders have chosen to take God out of everything. Our historic leaders understood to give credit where it was due, not to themselves or their own "power", but to Almighty God.

Holy moly, Madison is almost as tall as I am! I am fairly short for my age, and she is tall for her age! I would have LOVED to have been as tall as Madison is when I was 9!

All of the pictures were fun. I love to get family group pictures when everyone is here but it doesn't always work out. I don't know why people resist getting their pictures taken?!?
We have been movie goers lately. We have seen The Christmas Carol,...Amelia...Old Dogs (Hilarious!) And The Blindside. They always have good movies at holiday time.
