Yesterday, Madison's friend Tori invited us all to go see the movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", so they picked up Madison and Kaylee and then Lily and I met them up there. When we got there, all of the other kids were riding the carousel, so I took Lily on it when they were done. She LOVED it! She wanted to ride on the top level too. I took this picture with my cell phone, so it's all blurry, but so cute anyways. She loved it that all the other girls were waving to her from the bottom. Then, Morgan met us up there for the movie. I asked him if he wanted to come so that if Lily decided she didn't want to sit still, he could just take her home with him. So, we got all our popcorn and drinks and found some booster chairs for the seats, because without them, Kaylee and Lily's chairs kept folding up on them! LOL! Lily was a little scared to sit in hers after that happened. I had to convince her that the chair wasn't going to do that again. Ha!
I couldn't believe how funny that movie was! For a kid's movie, it was so entertaining and all of us adults were laughing just as much as the kids. It also made it fun because it was 3D. You should've seen those giant glasses on Lily! I wish I had gotten a picture of that! They would barely stay on my face, so I know she was having a hard time keeping them on hers. I was surprised though.......she sat there the entire time with those glasses on and I only had to take her to the bathroom once. Then, when we got back she sat in my lap for the rest of the movie.
It was alot of fun! Now that Lily's getting older, it's so much easier to do these kind of things as a family. Well, I have to go get ready to take Madison to a Birthday party. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I had no idea that they had booster seats at the movies...the seats have always folded up on my kids too. I usually end up holding them.
Thanks for the recommendation...it sounds like a fun movie. I have always loved the book.
Blessings,
Amy
Wow, very cool! I could never imagine Molly sitting through an entire movie! Unless the Backyardigans come out with a movie, then maybe. I love kids movies that still cater to adults too! What fun!
My kids want to see that movie so bad. They love the 3d glasses:)
I saw the movie the first day it came out and I loved it! I cannot wait to see where the wild things are! :)
My class had a play date to see it and it was so cute! Thanks for sharing!
I am so glad that you posted about this movie. I was wondering if it would be a good one. We'll have to go see it for sure now. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you're doing well friend!
Glad you guys had a good time at the movies. I will for sure have to take Alyssa sometime soon.
That's awesome that Lily did so well too! What a big girl she's becoming!
Night at the movies is always fun for us as a family too. Jacob still does not do too well in theatre. He did way better at the outside theatre this past summer though. Thanks for the recommendation on the movie. It sounds like a fun one! :)

Movies are fun to see in 3D!
AWE! How fun!!! She looks very cute! I would love to take Autumn to a movie but I am so terrified that she won't sit still. I bet it helps to keep the interest that it is a 3D movie though!
