We left on our trip on Wednesday, so I'm just now getting around to posting this, but I needed to tell y'all about the girls' open houses at school on Tuesday, so it fit perfectly with the theme!
Here's my two school girls, all dressed up for Eagle Launch, where they drop off their school supplies, meet their teachers, and see who's in their class this year. Madison will be in 4th and Kaylee will be in 1st. Kaylee already knew her two best friends would be in her class again this year, so she was absolutely thrilled!
I just had to take this picture because it is so funny. Like Mother, Like Daughter. Do you know what she was doing here? Organizing her pencil box. Everything had to fit just right in there. This was very serious business to her. The teacher had a list of the things they were to put in their box and she re-organized it several times until she was happy with the way things were. That is so like me it's not even funny! Kaylee gets a little bit of her OCD traits from me, I guess. LOL! I hear her class is an accelerated one this year. I'm not one bit surprised. Ha!
After Kaylee was satisfied with her pencil box organization, we headed over to Madison's school. She met up with all of her BFF's for a picture and then we went to find out who her teacher is. She ended up having all the same kids in her class from last year and the year before, so she was very happy. She's in the GT math/science class, so I am very proud of her!
We left school that night with two very happy girls. They got wonderful teachers this year, class with their best friends, and are looking forward to a great year!

You always have such cute outfits on your girlies! ^_^ By the way...I don't think I ever told you that I would be happy to help you with a new button and logo for your business. Just email me and let me know what you are changing and stuff and we can get it going! :)
Ummmm....YESSS!!!!! You are definitely missing out! Lol. Actually, I'm commenting right now from my phone. How awesome is that!?!?!? It's faster than my computer right now. Haha! Next large purchase is definitely going to be a MacBook Pro. ;) yeah...you just watch--I'll do it somehow!

That's awesome they get to be in classes with their best friends! That'll be so fun!
Well, now you will just have Lily at home with ya during the days. I remember when I just had my youngest daughter Lonna. We had so much fun.
We went to the "donut store", as she used to call it, after her big sisters went off to school and we went to the parks, and just she and I went grocery shopping, or to the mall. or we would go visiting with friends.
We lived in Colorado back then, so when it snowed she and I would go out together and build snowmen in the yard. And then we come in and I'd fix us a special treat and hot chocolate.
It was tons of fun.
Your girls will have fun at school, and you and Lily can have fun too. I just enjoyed the one on one time so much.
Thanks for the post. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of the girls and their friends.
Glad you joined in on the new "So We Don't Forget". I wonder what next weeks memory will be? She will post it on her sidebar.
Love you,
Mama Linda
