My MIL is on the board of our local Chamber of Commerce and they are having an auction to raise money for the Chamber this month. They use that money to help out with different things in our community, like when they helped out with the Hurricane Katrina evacuees that came to our area a few years ago from Louisiana.
She asked me if I would like to make something for it, and I said sure! Here's what I made:
It's an infant onesie and tutu.

I had this wonderful idea when I found this see-thru paint can at Michael's the other day, that I could use that to put it in so people could tell what they were bidding on. Well, my ideas don't always turn out exactly how I picture them in my mind. LOL! I guess it looks okay, but it took some work to fit that tutu in there and you can't really tell what it is, so I ended up putting the picture of it on top of the lid.

Today, I took the girls up to school to register them. School starts here in two weeks. I let the girls wear one of their new school outfits.
Does Madison look adorable or what?! Not only are
Veronica's Hats precious on babies, they totally rock on the older girls too!

And Kaylee looked super cute in her new outfit too!

They both got lots of compliments today at school. Kaylee's outfit was about $10 and Madison's was about $20. I love that!

Kaylee found out that her 2 best friends from her class last year are also going to be in her class this year for 1st grade. She is so excited! They both get to go meet their teachers and drop off their school supplies next Tuesday evening. Madison won't find out who her teacher is or who is in her class until that night.
Are y'all ready for school?

If you make those tutu's in Big Girl sizes, I would totally buy one for Molly! So cute! I love the see thru paint can, cool idea! School! Yikes! I am so glad Molly is not in school yet! The girls looked super cute!
Hey! You probably though I fell of the earth since you haven't heard back from me! Sorry about that. I'm gonna try to email you later tonight!
I love the girls' outfits. They looked so cute! That was so neat how Madison's outfit matched her hat exactly! Kaylee looked awesome in her new outfit too! I didn't realize how long her hair is getting until today!
Well, I'd better get going. Alyssa's still up since we just came back from Walmart. She was right here with me and was like, hey Momma, what about Lily? Did she get the present I send her?" I told her yeah and she said, "Good."
Okay...talk to you you soon! You were awesome...getting so much stuff done today. The tutu and onesie came out soooo cute!!!
HOW CUTE! The girls look so sweet in their outfits. I love going back to school, all the students have their own idea of clothes and I love to see their personalities come out!
I love the outfit for the Chamber fund raiser! The bucket would be awesome for my class! I am always finding 'different' things to bring in to give kids idea's!
You are very tallented girl! :)
Your girls are adorable and so are there outfits. Love that onsie and tutu. Wish I still had a baby girl!
School starts next week for us. We are almost ready. High school registration and a little more shopping to do. Does it ever end? :)
I am so not ready for school to begin but Isabel is! Well that's right now. Next week I am sure will be a different story! We have all the supplies and uniforms ready and she is off to 1st grade next Monday.
How time flies huh?
Your girls look adorable with their new outfits...I like uniforms but sometimes I'd like for Isa to be able to wear regular clothes...ha!
Kaylee's hair is so long! And curly...how beautiful!
Super cool outfits and adorable little girls. Oh my goodness you have mad skills. That little get up is too cute.
Kristin, OHHHH those little girls are so cute! I wish I could wrap my arms around them and give them a big humongous hug! (YOU TOO!)
I used to love school shopping for clothes. The funniest part (notice I didn't say 'funnest') was when we got home and mom would leave most of the bags in the trunk of the car until morning so we wouldn't walk in (where my dad was) with all the bags! ha ha ha!
Dads just don't understand the need for cute clothes ha!. :)
AWE! That tutu is adorable! Once again you found something else that you are great at :)
The girls look adorable in their new outfits. I used to love going to school and showing off all my new things. I can tell that they are excited!
Your blog is adorable and I love the tutu onesie! Simply beautiful!
