Fun in the Sun

Sunday afternoon, I took the girls over to their Grandma's house to go swimming and we ate dinner with them too. They had lots of fun. I didn't go swimming, but I took lots of pictures.

Lily still won't go into the water. She won't even sit on the step that's in the water. She'll sit on the side and put her feet in and that's it!
This picture is for my buddy Jennifer. LOL! Lily saw a commercial of "Swim to Me Puppy" on TV last year and she said she wanted it. Then she said, "Jennifer buy it for me." We thought that was so funny, since at the time she was only a little over 2 years old. She had her Christmas list all figured out though! So, needless to say, swimming puppy came along with us yesterday.

Here's one of Kaylee going down the slide. I thought it was funny how she had one hand up in the air, but made sure to hold her nose with the other.

Lily came and sat on the swing with me and had some iced tea. I've heard that sweet iced tea is a Southern thing. Is that true? It's just a normal drink for us.

Hope everyone's week got off to a good start.

I like your fun in the sun post! Your pictures a great! Your girls look like they are having fun! If you are like me at all. You had just as much fun watching them have fun and taking pictures even though we did not get to see you have your fun. :)

Hey! I know I said I was gonna get off the computer and look at me now! I think I need professional help! :) Glad the girls had a good time at Grandma's house. I wish we knew someone who had a pool at their house. All we have is a small inflatable one to put in our no-grass backyard! I had to take it over to Yvonne's house over the weekend so that the girls could swim in at her house since she actually has grass in her backyard! It was Audrey's 1st time in the pool and I missed it. She didn't even get any pics because her camera was broken. :(

Now...about what you mentioned about the sweet tea...that is def a southern thing because the only place you'll find Sweet tea around here is McDonalds! That's where I get mine!!!

Love ya and have a great night!!!

Looks like a fun time.

We used to drink sweet tea when I was a little girl and lived in California. When my mom got married to my dad his family drank unsweetened tea - so we converted. :)

Cute pictures Kristin. Many of my kids didn't like the water when they were little. I'm not crazy about swimming either actually.

I still hold my nose, too! So cute! Molly has no fear of the water, she would just go jump in if we weren't watching her! We also love sweet tea, actually Eric and I drank a whole pitcher of it on Sunday!

Gorgeous pictures Kristin~! It looks like they were having a lot of fun. I think it is too cute that Lily will not get in the water!

All my Father's family live in PA and they do not touch sweet tea. Only unsweet- BARF!
