The other day, I was telling y'all about the cute little dresses that my Mom used to make for the girls, so I thought I would share some of them with you.
Mom made this little pink one for Madison to wear for her first picture. Madison was 3 weeks old here and she just happened to fall asleep right before we were having her picture made. I love how her little fingers are grabbing the dress :)
When she made the pink one above, she also made this ivory one, but Madison never had a chance to wear it, so Kaylee wore it for her first picture. She was also three weeks old here.
This was around Madison's 1st Birthday. My Mom got tired of waiting for me to go get her picture made, so she took her as a surprise and had it made for me. All 3 of my girls ended up wearing this dress.
And here is Kaylee's 1st Birthday picture. I just loved this little dress.
When I was trying to figure out what to do my memory post on today, I was looking through my pictures and just having fun reminiscing and I thought I would throw this one in for fun!
Whoa! Are those some big Texas bangs or what?!! LOL!!!!!! This was my sophomore year high school picture. I don't know what possessed us all to wear our hair like that back then! Ha!! That took skills, I'm telling you!
Please go here to order some notecards (or anything else in my boutique) for Zach. All of the money raised will go to help his family with their ongoing medical costs and will be appreciated so much!!

Hi Kristin, Thanks for the comment on my post today. I have missed you too. We did have a great time on our trip,...but it is always good to get back home. (:>)
I loved seeing your cute babies when they wore the little dresses that your mom made for them. She did a very nice job.
I always thought it would be great to be able to sew, so that you could pick out the patterns and material that you liked.
Ok,... now lets talk about your picture...you called them "Texas Bangs",...and that is funny, cuz my girls wore them too, and they called them "Derby Bangs"! Ha!
It is funny how styles come and go,...and how they catch on all over the nation,...and even the world! But I think you look adorable. You are such a pretty gal. (My husband always says "gal",...I guess he rubs off on me!) Tee Hee
Thanks for joining in on Wednesday's Walk today. I am glad that Lynnette is going to keep doing them. If she hadn't ever started them I would never had met YOU! And I know that God is in all of this.
Love you,
Mama Linda
Yep, those are some nice big bangs! :) All the dresses are so cute!
SO cute! It reminded me of when my girls were little and the closet full of adorable dresses and all of the pictures that were taken in them.
And I think your hair looks great! ;o)
Aw...those dresses are so cute! To me, there's nothing cuter than a frilly dress on a baby girl. It's just the most precious thing ever! I want a baby sister sooooooo badly! I haven't had one since I was 5 years old, and I would seriously give anything to have another one. :( lol. Hopefully someday I'll have my own baby girl though--*sigh* That would be so awesome! ^_^
Thanks for sharing!
Love you!

P.S. You rock those "Texas" (Derby) Bangs! heehee. XD
I love the little dresses. Aren't mom's great - and to get the photos done for you since she was tired of waiting....worked out good!
The bangs. I had them too. Aqua Net Aerosol was awesome! Terrible though when it happened to rain and you were in it. Good bans turned bad - haha!
The dresses are beautiful!!! Your mom did a great job on them. :0)
Ha! I love the bangs!! That took skill and a lot of hairspray!
The dresses are so cute! Are you going to make dresses for your granddaughters?
Great pics!! Your babies were little baldies like mine are!! They are so sweet and you mom is so talented! Haha...you were really rockin' the bangs :)
Kristin,
Can you believe I'm just now getting to your post for the day? Bad friend! Anyhow...I love all the dresses your mom made, especially the cream one!
I was totally LOL when I saw the bangs pic and Fern right here with me in the living room and he was like what are you laughing at? I told him it was your bangs and he was like, let me see!!!
You want to know the reason why I was laughing? Since we are the same person, I was laughing because I have TONS of pictures where my hair was just like that except for the fact that for me it started way earlier than high school (I'm talking 6th grade!)! My hair was way worse though because it was permed too! Hikes!
Hope you had a great rest of your day! I am so proud of you and your latest addition to your website! You are awesome!
Your mom is very talented...the dresses are very cute!
Kristin, All of these dresses on your girls are just adorable. And I think that picture of you is beautiful, bangs and all!
I just love all of those dresses! That is so special that your mom made them for the girls. Such cute little babies!
That is such a good picture of you. Big bangs and all :)
LOL, I bet those bangs DID take a lot of skills!!
I had that same hair in about 10th grade. That would have been 1984 ish. Isn't that funny?
Your little bald (or nearly bald) babies are adorable. :) I had a few of those too. No wonder you like hair bows now! hee hee The dresses are CUTE.
Loving the big bangs! Those dresses are beautiful Kristin! My mother used to make dresses for me when I was little and she made beautiful blankets and baptismal outfits for my babies. I do not have any of her "crafty" gifts. I miss her...she had such great gifts. I enjoyed my visit today. I haven't been visiting my blog friends as much lately...just kind of bogged down, I guess. Hope things are going well for you.
Blessings,
Kelly
