I just wanted to share another SSC Cutie with you:
This is Angelica's daughter. Angelica was my very first online customer and she has been such a wonderful friend and supporter of Summer Suzette Couture. Isn't her daughter absolutely beautiful?!! If you haven't met Angelica yet, hop on over to her blog and say "Hi"!So, do y'all have big plans for Mother's Day? Mother's Day has always been my all-time favorite holiday. Not because I get to be the center of attention, but because I always loved showing and telling my Mom how much she meant to me. I always considered my Mom a precious gift, hand selected by God to be my Mom. She struggled for nine years, trying to have a baby, going through a miscarriage, and she had made peace with the fact that she probably would never have children. Then, God brought us together and his perfect plan was unfolded. She needed me and I needed her. What a beautiful, perfect union! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her and miss her, so I urge you this weekend to spend some special time with your Mom if you are still fortunate enough to have her here with you.
Now that I'm a Mom, my favorite part of Mother's Day is all the handmade things that my girls make for me! I treasure them more than anything they could ever buy for me. Most of all, I treasure the look on their faces when I open their gift that they made with love for me. It just doesn't get any better than that!
