...........was the title of our sermon today at church! LOL
Of course, there's nothing funny about the reality of Hell. It was an excellent service today, one of the best I've ever heard.
Our Pastor gave us some interesting statistics to think about:
74 % of people believe there is a Heaven
40% of people believe there is a Hell
65% of people believe they are going to Heaven
<1% of people believe they are going to Hell I think most people just don't like even thinking about the idea of Hell. I know I never really thought that much about it until I read the book "23 Minutes in Hell" by Bill Wiese. The truth is though, we should be thinking about it. Our Pastor said today that if we really thought about Hell and the reality of it and truly believed that our friends and family that aren't saved will end up there, we would live our lives differently.
Think about that for a minute. If you knew that your loved one was about to face an excruciating reality that would never end, would you not do everything in your power to help them before it was too late? I know people in my life who are not saved and it breaks my heart. They have no idea of the reality of what they are about to face for eternity. I don't know how to make them understand. Everyone keeps telling me that I must be patient and just simply show them God's love by my actions, and I agree with that, but the part of me that understands the reality of Hell wants to grab them by their shoulders, shake them, and scream at them that they have no idea the choice they have made! One second after they are gone, it will be too late. It terrifies me.
Our Pastor shared an excellent quote that he heard once:
Hell is like telling God "Leave Me Alone!" and God says, "Okay"
That's definitely something to think about.

Anyways, I am fascinated by the subject, so I was actually really excited about church today. We went out to eat afterwards again and had a wonderful time! Yesterday, I worked all day on making bows and then today I felt like I was experiencing a little bit of Hell when I tried to work on my website! LOL!! It was so frustrating that it had me seriously wondering if I should just get rid of my website and sell from a blog instead! Adding pictures to my website is going to be the death of me, as you have to crop the photos to be a perfect square, and then create two different sizes to post on the website (one small thumbnail and one larger size). I love how blogger does that all for you automatically. It was driving me crazy. So, I've got some thinking to do about the best way to go about this. I just don't have time to spend hours on posting pictures, that's for sure.
So, tell me.........
What do you think? Should I fight with the website? Should I just make a blog for my business and take orders by email? Should I just open an Etsy store and post it on my current blog? I will have to get in touch with my friend Stephanie to see how hard it is to upload pictures to Etsy. Ha!
In fact, I think I will head on over to Etsy and see what I can find out!
Have a great week everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kristin,...I loved your bows that I saw on Veronica's blog.
I can't give you computer advice,...cuz I know nothing! Sorry,...but I am sure you will get some good advice from your blogger friends,...and it will work out. i am excited for your business to get started.
I am glad that you had a good sermon today, and another great day at church! That is wonderful.
We had a great day too.
It is raining cats and dogs here in Kansas tonight. Our sump pump is running every few minutes,...so I hope the electricity doesn't go out.
I guess Abigail said on Facebook tonight that they had to go in their cellar for awhile tonight,...but she was thankful there was no Tornado.
I think of the power of God when there is a storm,...but they do frighten me. I was at work in a Mall once, (Many years ago) when a Tornado came over and did a lot of damage. It blew out all of the glass in my car, and there was a lightpost crashed on the car next to me. It was loud and fierce and my ears felt like they were going to explode,...and it did sound kinda like a freight train. I was really tramatized. I had nightmares that night,..and I am afraid of Tornadoes,..big time!
I have never been in a hurricane,..like you have where you live. But I am sure it is tramatic too.
Thank goodness that our God is able to calm our storms and see us through anything! Huh? (:>)
Well, I am off to bed. I just wanted to say hello.
Love, Momma Linda
