Honored!

A few weeks ago, I was so proud when M brought home a 1st place medal from her UIL Spelling Competition! A couple of days ago, we received a letter from the Superintendent of our school district saying how proud he was of her too, and he even joked that he would have to hire her to proof his work! LOL

Tonight, at the school district's board meeting, we got dressed up so that M could be honored and recognized for her UIL accomplishment. She was so excited!!
Here's a picture of all 3 girls. I can never get them all to look at the camera at the same time!
M and her Spelling Coach.
Here's a picture of all of the 3rd grade winners. M was the first to be introduced, and they introduced her as a 1st place winner with a perfect paper (and the audience gasped)! Let me just tell you that I was just one extremely proud Momma tonight!! I loved seeing her walk up there, so proud of herself, knowing that she has the ability to do great things in life! What an honor it is to be her Momma! She is one special, precious, extremely smart and talented little girl!
Way to go M!
