My Sweet Girls

Today we were all in the kitchen having an after-school snack. L was sitting at the kitchen counter, with her pencil and a magazine, and M was telling me something quite loudly (she knows only one volume, and that's loud). All of a sudden my sweet little 2 year old L says, "Be quiet! I'm trying to do my homework!" We all started dying laughing! She is so funny. She so wants to be just like her big sisters and she had her pencil and magazine, and was doing her homework! I just love the things that she comes up with! In fact, when we were driving home from school right before that, L told M to be quiet because "Momma is trying to drive!" Gee, I guess I've said that one 1 too many times before! I was thinking today how much I absolutely love and treasure my little girls. It really is so true that no matter how many you have, you love them each just as much. There's no way I could ever love one more than the other. It's also amazing to see how very different their personalities are.

M is the oldest and she has always loved being a big sister. She's never been jealous of her younger sisters and is always wanting to help out. She's my studious one, many times even making 100's on her report card in the Gifted classes. She takes after me in that way. She also loves to sing like I always have and she can be really shy at times like me. She's very laid back though and it takes a lot to upset her. She's also super messy though, which she gets after her Dad!

K is my middle one and she's in Kindergarten. She is very organized and neat. She refuses to let L in her room because she has everything spotless and doesn't want it messed up. She has 3 remotes that lay on her bedside table, and if you move one out of it's place, she will move it back! That's so like me too....everything has it's place. She's also very sensitive and it doesn't take very much to upset her. She takes after her Dad in that she's really smart, but not too interested in academics. She likes fashion and is really good at picking out her outfits. It was a struggle to get her to participate at school on the day they were supposed to wear mismatched clothing! She's also a super picky eater too, just like her Dad.
Now, what do I say about L? She's the most loving at her age out of the three of them. She is always saying, "I love you, Momma." She loves animals, which the other two aren't too interested in. She says almost daily that our new dog Bella is her best friend. She loves to go shopping with me and ever since she was old enough to walk, that girl has loved shoes! No one can leave their shoes lying around without her trying them on and taking them for a spin. She is such a girly-girl and she really is my best buddy during the day when the other girls are at school. She is always making us laugh. She's definitely the boss of the family. She always gets her way!

All three girls love to sing and dance. I've been singing to them since they were born, and always making up silly songs about everyday things. Despite the fact that they're all 3 years apart, they play really well together. They love to take care of their babies, play dress-up, and play with their Bratz and Barbies. They also all love to play outside.
No matter what they each grow up to be like, I just want them to know how proud I am of them and how very much I will always love them, no matter what. I think that is the greatest gift a Mom can give to her children, to just let them be themselves. Oh my though, can you imagine what our home is going to be like with 3 teenaged girls in it one of these days!?!
