The Best Day Ever!

Yesterday, my dear friend Julie took all of the BFF's up to her office to see Santa. He literally flew in on a T-38 jet into Ellington Field (where the President lands when he visits Houston) and then he got off the jet with his big bag of toys for all the kids. They had a party with Santa, were given gifts, and had a blast! As soon as she emails me a picture, I will post it on here.

Afterwards, she had a party for all of the girls at her house. They had pizza, exchanged gifts, and made Christmas ornaments. They had so much fun!

To top it all off, around 9pm last night, we heard sirens going off like crazy. My husband and I immediately remembered it was the annual night when the local volunteer fire department rides up and down the neighborhood streets, with Santa on top of the fire truck and several other emergency vehicles in front and behind. We called the girls and they came out to see Santa. He was saying "Ho, Ho, Ho!" and throwing bags of candy. My little L thought that was the greatest thing ever!
Sorry about this picture...it was so dark that it didn't come out too good. Oh well! The girls said this was the best Christmas ever!
